When Arjun lost his cool
He recently shot extensively in Shillong, Meghalaya, for his film, Rock On 2. And actor Arjun Rampal feels that the northeastern state is “the most beautiful and gorgeous place.” He adds, “The people, the food, the culture is fabulous; and they all are educated. Plus, they have a matriarchal society wherein everything is in women’s hands. So, it was beautiful to see women empowerment this way.”
What also amazed Arjun is the fact that there is “so much discipline out there in people.” “I think I really fell in love with Shillong. In fact, I also checked out the possibility of buying land there but I was told that I will have to marry a local girl from Shillong for that (laughs). And I was like, ‘Oh ho’ (laughs). But I had a great time. One can easily set a film there and it’s going to be gorgeous,” he says.
On another note, Arjun talks about how he has a stage fright. “I am terrible on stage. I remember the first show I did, I almost started abusing. I remember I was hosting something [a show] which was on the lines of “look of the year.” And I felt blank. My head started spinning and I ended up using the F-word two-three times and it was caught on the mic (laughs),” says the actor, whose Kahaani 2 along with Vidya Balan just released.
