VARUN DHAWAN, ALIA BHATT ADD BOLLYWOOD SPARKLE
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt took the centre stage at The Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival’s (HTKGAF) Asiatic Library venue on the last day of the festival.
The actors, who were there to promote their upcoming movie, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, they performed to cheers from the crowd on the song ‘Tamma tamma again’. Alia was blown away by the crowd’s response, and said, “This place is amazing. I am so glad to be here. This is my debut at HTKGAF.” Varun agreed with her, adding, “This is so much fun. Hope you people like Badrinath Ki Dulhania. It’s a fun film just like this place.”
Aditi Salian, the winner of the Fox Life Badrinath Ki Dulhania Date Night contest, got onto the stage to dance with Varun and Alia. Varun taught Aditi the step to the title song of the movie and she did a fabulous job of matching steps with the stars. Aditi says, “I’m a die hard fan of Varun and Alia. They personify everything about our generation, and I am so thrilled to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity to dance with them. I will always remember this night. A big thank you to Fox Life and HTKGAF for making this possible for me.”
While they were dancing on stage, the audience was grooving in the aisles. Varun and Alia appreciated the enthusiasm, and even took a selfie with the audience.
