CAMPUS EVENTS ADVENTURE BELLA HADID OPENS UP ABOUT BREAK-UP
Singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens has called out the Grammys for racism. The artiste feels that the ceremony has failed to recognise Beyoncé’s (right) artistic accomplishment.
A day after Beyoncé claimed the trophy for Best Urban Contemporary Album but lost to British singer Adele for album, record, and song of the year, Stevens penned down a Grammy critique on his blog.
Sharing his thoughts in the form of a Q&A, the singer-songwriter wrote, “What is Urban Contemporary?”
The answer to which read, “It’s where the white man puts the (incomparable) pregnant black woman because he is so threatened by her talent, power, persuasion and potential.”
Stevens also added,
Model Bella Hadid (extreme left) has finally poured her heart out following her break-up with rapper The Weeknd (right). In a recent interview, the 20-year-old fashionista has said it may appear she handled her first heartbreak well but it did quite affect her. “It was my first break-up — or second, next to the horse (Lego, who died at age 16 due to Lyme disease) — and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it is always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily,” said Hadid. She added that “love hurts” but one will have to keep going on. She also said that “Friendly reminder: don’t be racist.” Though he did not mention the Grammys by name, the show has been criticised over the years for overlooking black artistes.
In the past 20 years, only two black artistes have so far won Album Of The Year at the Grammys.
However, Adele, 28, while accepting the honour at the 59th annual Grammy awards, paid tribute to Beyoncé, 35, whose album, Lemonade, was also nominated in the same category, saying the latter was a more deserving winner than her. she will always have respect for her ex.
After their split, The Weeknd has been spotted with his new girlfriend, singer Selena Gomez (left).

Fever 104 FM RJ Ruchi too has good things to say about Mishra and Bhanushali. She says, “They were really cute. We asked them what love is and both of them had different definitions of love and it was a lot of fun,” she says and adds, “They were not shy at all. In fact, they were telling us what music to play and what not to play. Both kids were brimming with confidence.”
