Kriti’s special gift to Sushant

Singh Rajput (right) are playing on-screen lovers in their upcoming film, Raabta. On learning that this is the first time Sushant is playing a Punjabi boy in a movie, Kriti presented Sushant with a special gift to help him get into the skin of the character.
“During the preparation phase, Sushant mentioned he is essaying the role of a Punjabi for the first time. Kriti made a mental note and the next week, she gifted him an iPod with Punjabi songs stored in it. She put together a playlist that he could hear while essaying his character. The playlist had many Punjabi film and folk songs. Sushant continues to carry the iPod even during the promotions,” says a source. Kriti and Sushant, who have a lot of things in common, they both are from Delhi, they went to the same college, they made it in the industry on their own, and now they have the same playlist of songs.
Kriti says, “I’m a Punjabi, and I love Punjabi songs. I added some tracks to my playlist and handed it over to Sushant. I thought it would help him build his on-screen character.”
