Mini trails will highlight moments from our film: Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh isn’t known as a marketing genius for nothing. For his next film, JJab Harry Met Sejal, directed bby Imtiaz Ali, the duo is all set to come up with a series of innovative marketing strategies to promote their film that hits the screens on August 4. As a treat to his audience, Imtiaz has come up with the idea to showcase ‘mini trails’, which are a series of 30-second clips from the film. The clips trace the love story between a Punjabi guy played by Shah Rukh and a Gujarati girl essayed by Anushka Sharma. A source says, “With this innovative strategy, the audience will get an introduction to the world of Harry and Sejal. These will also serve as a build up to the songs of the film, and help communicate the essence of the love story. Each ‘trail’ from the film introduces the personalities of Harry and Sejal, and will give the audience a glimpse of their dreams and complexities. The first few trails will be unveiled on Sunday ( June 18).”
Shah Rukh, who is also the producer says, “The whole idea of mini trails is to introduce Harry and Sejal, the two players in the beautiful love story. Imtiaz has a special way of writing and shooting his scenes. Even the most simple of scenes have an underlying emotion or a subtext within them. These mini trails will highlight moments from our film, which Imtiaz so lovingly weaves into his tales. The thought behind them is to draw audience closer to Harry and Sejal.”
