No remixes for Tiger Shroff
In the era of remixes and recreations, with almost everyone banking on renditions of familiar sounds and songs, Sabbir Khan’s next starring Tiger Shroff — Munna Michael, is a film whose album consists of only original tracks.
As Sabbir reunites with Tiger, they are all set to score a hattrick with this film, after the success of Heropanti (2014) and Baaghi (2016).
With lyrics being written by Kumaar and over nine composers including Meet Brothers, Tanishk Bagchi, Gourov-Roshin, Vishal Mishra, Pranaay Rijja and Javed-Mohsin composing music for the film, it will also be launching young talent and introducing new musicians who have previously worked on diverse compositions and different genres.
While the first track from Munna Michael titled ‘Main hoon’, was well received, the second song ‘Ding dang, also met with a great reception, and was launched on a largerthan-life scale.
Talking about it, Sabbir says, “Every single song in the film is original, there are no popular song recreations or remixes. The music has been worked on by a very young and talented lot of musicians for over a year. They have brought in their own signature styles and therefore, there is no pattern or repetition. The album is unlike anything you’ve heard in recent times.”
Producer Viki Rajani adds, “We’ve been really lucky to have some versatile and fresh talent working on the music of Munna Michael. We believe in backing new talent and thankfully it’s paying off for us. The music is being really well appreciated.”
Produced by Eros International and Viki Rajani’s Next Gen Film, and directed by Sabbir Khan, Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, debutante actor Niddhi Agerwal, releases on July 21.
