Delhi is now home to the Kohler Experience Center (KEC), which makes it only the third city in the world to be home to it, after New York and London. The lavish 10,000 square foot center that opened its doors on June 30, aims to be a one-stop-shop for architects, designers and consumers to access the full breadth of Kohler’s global bath product portfolio.
What sets the KEC apart from all other stores is that it provides an unprecedented interactive experience. One can actually step in here and plan out an entire bathroom and walk out with a blueprint.
Speaking about why he chose India as the third destination on the globe for a KEC, David Kohler, President CEO of Kohler , who inaugurated the KEC, said, “India is an important market for us. Our Kohler Experience Centers signify a paradigm shift in our retail experience globally. With the launch of the KEC in Delhi we are elevating our retail experience allowing end customers, architects and designers to interact with and immerse themselves in Kohler’s global range of products.”
Broken into four distinct zones, the KEC offers The Café, a space which encourages social interaction between architects, designers and consumers alike; the Warehouse, a modular space providing a deeper dive into its impressive product range; the Lab, elevating the chance for real time interaction with its products to an entirely new level, and, The Inspiration Zone, which features seven designer suites to pique the senses as seen through the creative lens of some of India’s most prestigious architectural firms.
The launch, planned like a lavish party, also saw an exclusive soiree amidst the luxurious settings, by Puneet Jasuja. Among the top architects in attendance were Sunita Kohli, Vinita Chaitanya, Anand Puri, Dean D’cruz and Pradeep Sachdeva. Also present at the launch were designers Shivan and Narresh, Anupama Dayal and actress Nisha Singh.
With a dedicated design team and hours that accommodate the most hectic of schedules, the Kohler Experience Center is one place you will want to visit soon — and often.
