ITALY CALLING DIVYANKA AND VIVEK

The couple has left for the European country to celebrate their first wedding anniversary

Actors Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who recently won a reality show, have vamoosed to Europe to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, escaping the Mumbai monsoons and their hectic shooting schedules. Last year, the busy couple couldn’t throw pre-wedding parties or go on a honeymoon trip due to work, but this year, they’ve made sure that they celebrate their first wedding anniversary on the day itself. The couple met on the sets of their popular TV show in 2015 and got married on July 8, last year. Their wedding had multiple ceremonies in different cities. Now, the two will be in Italy for a week, and plan to visit Sicily, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast.

Vivek says, “Divyanka didn’t know what where we were going until yesterday. But we had been playing a guessing game for the past couple of days, and she guessed the destination right before we left. I wanted to keep it a surprise till we reached the airport, but she had to pack and prepare accordingly. Moreover, her curiosity just didn’t let me keep the plans secret.”

Ask him about his first anniversary gift, and Vivek says, “There will be something special, but I would rather keep that bit a surprise till I actually gift it to her.”

Talking about her past year with Vivek, Divyanka says, “This year has been extremely special. We have so many great memories, starting from our traditional, multi-city monsoon wedding last year to learning and growing together. We also made some trips to Paris (France), London (UK), Cardiff (UK), Sri Lanka, Udaipur (Rajasthan) and Goa.””
