As the audiences gear up to witness Punju-Gujju romance unfold between Harry and Sejal on August 4, the music of the movie is already topping the charts. With four tracks released, Jab Harry Met Sejal turns out to be nothing short of a musical dramedy. The latest song to join the list is titled ‘Hawayein’, releasing today.
Exploring the romance between the lost tour guide Harry, and Sejal, who is touring Europe in search of her engagement ring, the song promises to strike the right chord with all music buffs.
Among the previous songs, ‘Radha’ and ‘Beech beech mein’ brought to the screen the quirky side of the lead characters; ‘Butterfly’ made our hearts leap with joy; and ‘Safar’ was truly a surreal journey. Now this new track beautifully narrates the love story between the two.
Sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Pritam and penned by Irshad Kamil, ‘Hawayein’ is a soulful number that truly reflects director Imtiaz Ali’s vision, best known for narrating love stories with finesse.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan is once again at his romantic best in the song, and his sizzling chemistry with Anushka Sharma serves as the perfect treat for fans. SRK took to Twitter to announce the release of the song and will return to India from the US to launch the song.
