Ranveer’s advance booking
He has proved his mettle on the big screen time and again with movies such as Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015). Now, Ranveer Singh is going to take the fashion runway by storm as he readies to walk the runway for designer Manish Malhotra at the India Couture Week 2017. Apparently, Manish wanted to get Ranveer as his muse a while back but it didn’t happen as their “dates couldn’t be matched.”
“It’s finally happening now. Ranveer actually blocked this date for Manish a year in advance. It should be interesting to see what Manish creates for Ranveer. What’s also interesting is that it’ll be the first time that Ranveer and Alia Bhatt will walk the ramp together,” says an insider. The two will also be seen together in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boyz.
The last time Ranveer was seen on the ramp was for designer duo, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna at a magazine’s fashion night. “He is known for his quirky antics, daring attitude and experimental fashion statement, so Ranveer is likely to surprise the audiences again. Since he has been busy shooting for his film (Padmavati) with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he will be squeezing time out especially for this fashion extravaganza,” adds the insider.
Despite repeated attempts, Ranveer couldn’t be reached for a comment.
