Six badasses reunite for trailer launch

The trailer launch of Baadshaho — starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra, will be held today at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai.

Before the film releases, audiences will get to see the six actors on one platform to launch the trailer along with director Milan Luthria and producer Bhushan Kumar.

Bhushan says, “The grandeur of Baadshaho needs an equally grand launch. The Royal Opera House is one of the most magnificent places in Mumbai, and it fit the theme of the film perfectly. As a team, we wanted the first media event for this film to be as majestic as the film will be.”

A source says “It’s difficult to get six conventional actors to change their vibe into a badass one. Milan’s brief to all of them was to portray their characters as though they had a bullet between their teeth. They all responded strongly to the direction, and their portrayals have taken the audience by surprise. The ‘super six’ will present the Baadshaho trailer at the iconic Opera House — which was deemed the perfect retro venue by the makers to showcase the bygone ’70s era of Baadshaho, and give an authentic feel of Milan’s vision.”

Milan Luthria says, “I was blown away by the opulence of the restored Royal Opera House when I went there recently. Even though it’s a very expensive and unused venue for film promotions, I was adamant that my first media interaction would be here. It will be breath taking to see the trailer and the entire cast on that glittering stage. “
