RUKMINI HAS BROUGHT STABILITY TO MY LIFE: NEIL NITIN MUKESH
Neil Nitin Mukesh tied the knot with Rukmini Sahay in a grand ceremony in Udaipur in February this year. He then threw a lavish reception in Mumbai to introduce his wife to the film industry folks. Six months later, Rukmini has been to the sets of his next film Golmaal Again, but Neil admits that his wife is yet to get acquainted with the industry. “The last six months have been a dream. Rukmini fit into my world from day one. She isn’t interested in films per se and that’s what connected us. She doesn’t even see too many movies and that’s why we have so much more to talk about. She has definitely brought stability to my life and I am happier to come back home to her,” says Neil.
The actor is also excited about his next film, Golmaal Again where he will join the cast of the comedy caper. The actor says that he has always been waiting for an opportunity to work with Rohit Shetty, and this film came to him at the right time. “Comedy is a genre I have been looking forward to doing. And what better than the Golmaal franchise. I was thrilled when I was offered the film. Parineeti (Chopra) and I were the new additions to the cast and we had a blast during the Ooty schedule,” he says.
In fact, he took Rukmini along for this outdoor schedule for the first time. “She enjoyed herself. It was all too new for her so she couldn’t understand too much but she was very comfortable with everyone on the set. We would get some time to ourselves after pack up and that’s what she looked forward to the most,” (laughs) Neil.
