The Chainsmokers’ list of requirements
The Chainsmokers, the DJ duo behind hit EDM songs such ‘Closer’, ‘Don’t let me down’, and ‘Roses’, are set to perform for the first time in Mumbai on September 7, at Mahalaxmi Racecourse. International celebrities visiting India have often made outlandish requests of their hosts during their stays, so ahead of the concert, we managed to get our hands on a copy of the hospitality arrangements being made for The Chainsmokers.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 7pm, and The Chainsmokers are expected to get on the stage at about 8.30pm, but sources say the duo will not leave their hotel before 4 in the evening. For transport, they’ve requested a Mercedes S Class, a BMW or an Audi.
It appears The Chainsmokers are very particular about their choice of pizza: they have specifically asked for cheese pizza of a particular make. They also want fresh ham, turkey or salami in their sandwiches instead of prepackaged meat, and the only vegetables they want are lettuce, tomatoes and onions. They have also asked for an assortment of rolls and white breads, pickles, popcorn, vinegar chips, as well as Jack Links Original Beef Jerky.
As far as alcohol is concerned, they have asked for Don Julio and Patron tequila, Tito’s vodka, and Budweiser and Corona beer. The list of drinks also specifies Pellegrino and Perrier sparkling water, Gatorade, cranberry juice, assorted pressed juices, Starbucks Espresso Double Shot, Kombucha Tea, and Bloody Mary mix.
The list of medicinal and personal care items contains Emergen C, Gummy MultiVitamins and Advil, scented candles and baby wipes. Ironically, the list of requirements does not include any cigarettes.
