With five new endorsement deals, Sharma’s year-long packed schedule has got even more hectic
She has a packed 2017, which started with the release of Phillauri, and was followed by Jab Harry Met Sejal. Post that, Anushka Sharma started shooting for her next film, Pari in Kolkata, which is still ongoing.
Now, the actor is all set to start prep for Aanand L Rai’s next, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan before starting the shoot for the same in October.
Now, we’ve learnt that Anushka has signed five new endorsement deals. “In between her film commitments, she will also be shooting most of the ad films for the brands,” says an insider. Her new brand deals include a global bank, a women’s Indian clothing line, a smartphone brand, a travel company, and a leading cosmetics brand.
“What’s interesting is that till date, almost all her new brands have never used a celebrity endorser. So, Anushka is keen to put in her best for these ad films, and will take out time from her chock-a-block schedule specifically for that,” says the insider. Recently, she was also appointed the female ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Campaign, along with Amitabh Bachchan.
Interestingly, not just 2017, but the next year too, looks packed for the Sultan (2016) actor. “Right at the start of 2018, in February, Anushka will start shooting for Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan. Apart from that, her home production, Pari releases in the same month, so she will start promoting the film from January itself,” says the insider.
Although Anushka’s schedule might be busy, the actor doesn’t seem to be complaining. “Those who are close to her know that she loves shooting and being on the sets, so you will never hear her complain about having too much on the plate,” says the insider.
