Be it films, ads, runways or glamorous red carpet appearances, actor Deepika Padukone is known to put her best fashion foot forward. Now, we have learnt that the actor will be seen in a unique look for his outing in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Padmavati. Reportedly, she will be sporting a unibrow for the first time in this historical film. “Deepika has mastered various looks in her 10-yearlong Bollywood career, but her look as the legendary Mewar queen, Rani Padmini, will be one of her most beautiful avatars. Be it Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela (2013) or Bajirao Mastani (2015), Deepika has had some stunning looks in Sanjay Sir’s films. And, in this time too, she is set to surprise everyone,” says an insider.

Deepika is essaying the role of the Rajput queen, who is not only known for her beauty, but also for her courage. “As a part of her look in the film, Deepika sports little to no makeup and will be seen with a unibrow. This decision was taken after a lot of deliberation between Sanjay sir, his team and Deepika,” adds the insider.

Deepika’s look has been “kept true to the period” and that’s why her look in Padmavati, though simple, is very different.

Despite repeated attempts, neither Bhansali nor Deepika could be reached for a comment. Along with Deepika, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
