It is unfortunate that people have to look at the digital medium for creative work. I wish TV upgraded itself and made content that we would all be happy watching and proud of a at the same time.”

Karan is aware that m mythological shows and historical ones are lapped up by the audiences but he also wants shows for the urban youth. “I am not saying don’t make mythology and fantasy shows. That’s why we rely on English channels and foreign shows,” he says. While his career as a host is steady on the small screen, there are rumours that he will be part of Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2. “There is nothing is confirmed yet. I can’t comment on it,” says Karan.
