‘I WANT TO GET THE SIZE ZERO FIGURE’

Anita Hassananda­ni talks about being on the keto diet and how she wants a new look

Ineeded to lose some weight as I recently went to Budapest (Hungary) for work and ended up eating a lot there. So, I went on a keto diet,” says Anita Hassananda­ni, who has been on the diet for 15 days and has lost two and half kilos and “many inches”. She says, “It is not difficult to follow the keto diet as foodwise, it is satisfying and filling. There are keto desserts too. It is comfortabl­e and you don’t feel like you are missing out on anything. You can have dishes like chicken tikka and tandoori chicken but you have to go easy on carbs. I would recommend this diet to people who want to lose weight.”

The actor has been getting her meals delivered as it is “convenient” but plans to start preparing them at home soon. “With food being delivered, I can strictly follow the diet with my shoot schedule. After a month, I will prepare my own meals at home as the challenge is to maintain your weight once you stop the diet and go back to your usual food patterns. That is the trick. You should avoid eating too many sweets or junk food.” Anita does light work outs thrice a week with the diet.

Ask her why she felt the need to lose weight as she is quite slim otherwise and she says, “Due to my recent travels, I put on a little bit of weight. And moreover, I wanted to change the way I look. I want my body to feel different as I have been like this for many years now. I want to get the size zero figure, extra slim look for a change. I want to see how it goes. I am not overdoing anything but a little change would be good for me.”
