Jacqueline’s new Thai restaurant in Bandra
She has a chock-a-block date diary vis-à-vis her film assignments. Now, we have come to know that before 2017 comes to an end, Jacqueline Fernandez will have something special to her credit — a Thai restaurant in Bandra.
“Yes, my restaurant will be up and running before the year ends, and it goes without saying that I am very excited about it,” says the Judwaa 2 actor, who already has a restaurant in her home country, Sri Lanka. But unlike her Thai eatery in Mumbai, Jacqueline’s Sri Lankan outlet offers authentic Sri Lankan food. The Housefull 3 (2016) actor admits that food holds a special place in her heart. “When it comes to food, a lot of art and creativity is involved, and anything to do with creativity will always be close to my heart. So, I am looking forward to the people’s response to the restaurant,” she says. In her eight-year-long career, Jacqueline’s career graph — barring a few hiccups – has mostly seen an upward trend. In fact, the actor feels “grateful for people’s love and affection”. “That is the only thing that I concentrate on,” she says. The Sri Lankan beauty admits that the more she concentrates on positive aspects, “the more they come [into her life]”. “Travelling, getting appreciation from my fans, the audiences in general and my family; and the kind of good people I get to work with are the things that I love the most about success,” says the actor, who has started shooting for her next, Race 2 alongside Salman Khan. In 2014, she worked with Salman for the first time in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick.
