Manoj Bajpayee continues to shoot despite poor health

Bollywood actors often have to work continuously before they can take a break due to the amount of time their work demands. And sometimes, they have to power through and deliver no matter how they’re feeling. Recently, Manoj Bajpayee had to go through a similar situation — the actor had caught a fever and a stomach infection, but he continued shooting for his upcoming film, Baaghi 2.

According to a source, Manoj was unwell, but he had consecutive shoot schedules lined up. However, the actor didn’t let his health affect his work and arrived on the sets on time to shoot with his costar Tiger Shroff. Manoj had given his dates to the director, Ahmed Khan, and wanted to stick to the schedule.

“Manoj has been under the weather for about a week, which has resulted in a lot of weakness, but he still managed to meet all his work commitments on time. It’s a hectic month for Manoj, as he is shooting for two films, and the promotions of his next film, Aiyaary, have also begun. But he didn’t take a day off, as that would disrupt the shooting schedule”, the source says.

The source adds that Manoj only had seven days to finish the shoot and he managed to do so in record time. The team also made provisions to make sure that the actor was comfortable and was looked after well.

Manoj couldn’t be reached for comment.
