HT’s Heartfulness Meditation Masterclass is a roaring success
Readers appreciated and thanked HT and the Heartfulness Institute for the meditation camp initiative
Hindustan Times’ Heartfulness Meditation Masterclass was conducted at 51 venues in Mumbai. Trainers helped participants from two batches learn relaxation techniques over multiple sessions between January 2 to 7.
On the first day, participants learnt the technique of heartfulness relaxation. Day two was dedicated to learning the Heartfulness Rejuvenation technique, which helps unclutter the mind and improve focus and effectiveness. On the last day participants made a deep connection with their self.
Hindustan Times received feedback from its readers who said this was the best New Year gift for them. An email by the participant Ravindra P Junagade read, “I appreciate this initiative by HT. Practices which integrate the mind and body, such as yoga and meditation, can reverse some conditions that are thought to be incurable or irreversible. Apart from this, since brain activity and immune functions are related, there is hope that meditation can help change brain and immune function in positive ways.”
Another participant, Bharati Ingavale sent an email that said, “Your efforts towards societal wellness are always appreciated.” Participant Shyamkarani wrote to us, “The meditation classes through Anushka Mehta were a great idea. Her family’s hospitality made the event outstanding! Thank you HT.”
Tushar Pradhan, zonal coordinator of Heartfulness Institute, Mumbai Metro Zone, said. “Heartfulness meditation can be practised by anyone. The only qualification needed is the willingness to try it. I have benefited greatly from this practice over the past 17 years. I recommend it to people who face increased stress, complexity and a lack of purpose in life. The practice deepens our relationship with our source, which lies within us and brings the best that we can offer to the world.”
The initiative got an overwhelming response from about 26,000 readers who showed interest in the Masterclass. HT aims to come up with more such initiatives for the benefit of its readers in the future.
