The all-new Audi Q5, launched in the Capital on Thursday evening, seriously ups the stakes on lounge worthiness and polish — qualities that set the tone for the luxury ride’s welcome-home party. The Q that shows its patrons how to let their hair down, hang back and really take in things, was launched at a lavish party by Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India and actor Arjun Kapoor.
In keeping with the theme of leisure, guests were also treated to a magnificent gastronomical experience, making the evening one of laid-back luxury, something that the all-new Audi Q5 stands for.
Speaking about the launch, Ansari said, “The year 2018 will be the year of Audi progression and the launch of the new Audi Q5 is the perfect example of this. The first Audi Q5 was for many years, the world’s best-selling model in its class and with the new Q5 we are pushing the bar a notch up.”
The features of the all-new Audi Q5 includes a highly efficient 2.0 TDI engine with a total output of 140 KW (190 hp) with 7-speed stronic transmission. It also boasts of a top speed of 218km/h and the car zooms from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds. “With a lighter body, a whole new design language and a host of new infotainment and innovative features, the new Audi Q5 is the best offering in its segment who want to enjoy driving whether it is on or off the road,” added Ansari.
There is technology galore with features like the Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch, Audi Smartphone Interface and Audi Phone Box with Qi-Wireless charging. The glam event also gave guests the opportunity to experience the all-new Audi Q5 on a customised track, taking the launch to another level of exclusivity.
