In sync with the philosophy of Maruti Suzuki's NEXA, which believes in offering a high degree of sophisticated experience to its customers, designers Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their Spring Summer ’18 line at the recently-concluded, NEXA Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai, last week. The evening saw stunning sartorial statements as guests got a chance to witness the elegant Ciaz, the stylish offering from NEXA, Maruti Suzuki’s line of showrooms that sell its premium car portfolio, including Ciaz S, Baleno, Baleno RS, S-Cross, and Ignis.
Ciaz seems to be perfectly clued into what Young India wants – constantly striving to re-invent work and travel experiences. All of NEXA’s offerings are a reflection of this new-age India’s style and attitude — #CitizensOfTheRoad — for whom the #IndiaOnTheMove ideology is a passion to be pursued.

Inspired by NEXA’s monochromatic theme, the evening’s fashion experience mirrored the essence of an aspirational yet nonconformist new-age India. The silhouettes of the designers’ collection was in consonance with the elegance of the ‘NEXA Lines’. Articulating the surreal style and dramatic accents which is synonymous with class, fashionistas got a taste of a variety of tailoring techniques and novel statements on the catwalk. While smartly interwoven lines and structures along with innovative interpretations of age-old textures and drapes were delightful experiences, the design details of Ciaz garnered huge praise.
In keeping with the NEXA’s suave image, it was only befitting that the showstopper of the glitzy evening was the charismatic youth icon, actor Saif Ali Khan, who, with his attitude and style, looked dapper on the ramp.
The evening heralded the dawn of a new era, one that promises to act as a catalyst for new changes, just what the NEXA experience offers.
