June’s a special month for Sanjay
Sanjay Dutt has quite a busy work schedule in 2018. To start with, the actor has finished the shooting for his new film, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, which will release in the first quarter of the year. The actor is also said to be “extremely kicked” about the biopic on his life that is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor portrays Dutt, while Manisha Koirala will be seen playing Dutt’s mother, the late Nargis Dutt.
We have learnt that the fact that his biopic would release in the month of June “has come as extremely happy news” for Dutt. A source close to the actor says, “The news that the biopic will release in June has made the month even more special for the actor. Not many realise it, but June has a long standing and very special connection for Dutt — the month marks the birth dates of his late parents: Nargis’ birthday falls on June 1 and Sunil Dutt’s birthday is on June 6.”
The source added, “The month of June is very close to Dutt. He always shared a very warm and loving relationship with his parents and was close to them. Even now, he fondly remembers and talks about his parents.”
It is believed that Dutt is also relieved that the Bombay High Court has found ‘no violations or abuse of discretionary powers’ in his release from Yerawada prison or in the leaves of parole and furlough granted when he was serving a five-year term.
