Iam still in the honeymoon phase,” says comedienne Bharti Singh who married writer Harsh Limbachiyaa on December 3 last year. Soon after their wedding, the couple flew to Europe for their month-long honeymoon. “We had a blast visiting 13 cities and travelled at leisure. It was quite cold but it was fun too. We wanted to be away for a month as Harsh felt I was too busy before the wedding coordinating and organising everything, so he wanted me to relax after that. Taking a long break worked out well as it is tough to break away from work for such long periods otherwise.”

Bharti and Harsh went to Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France, Hungary, Belgium and Switzerland, “Harsh had planned everything and each destination was a surprise for me. I loved Switzerland, Barcelona and Prague the most. We used to frequent the late-night bazaars in Barcelona. In Switzerland, Harsh and I enjoyed the snow which was a first for the both of us. It was cold but I am from the North (of India), so I was able to manage and handle the cold. Harsh is a Mumbaite and he had a tough time.”

Bharti kept in touch with her fans via Instagram and kept them posted about her experiences. “I enjoyed sharing things and I can’t stay away for long from my fans. We also met many fans on this trip and found Indian restaurants in each city. A lot of restaurant owners wouldn’t even let us pay.”

The comedienne admits she learnt a lot about Harsh during this trip. “He is calm and intelligent. We would talk for hours on end and as it was just the two of us, we shared a lot about our lives in these conversations. We also talked about planning our future. I love applying sindoor and he never misses the chance to do so when he is around. I love being married,” says Bharti.
