Renuka Shahane surprises audience
Renuka Shahane’s look in her forthcoming film 3 Storeys has grabbed eyeballs after the makers released the trailer of the film yesterday. The veteran actor’s character — that of an aged Goan lady named Flory Mendonca is actually inspired by a real life middleaged woman by the same name, reveal makers.
A source from the film’s unit says, “The veteran actress, who is seen playing an aged Goan has taken nuances of the character from a real life person. Her body language, dialect and the look of her character is inspired by Flory. In fact, this look of hers is so different that it has taken everyone aback. Renuka is mostly been seen in roles that require her to play real characters.”
The trailer of the film has successfully showcased each actor in a never seen before avatar. Set in the chawls of Mumbai, the thriller film closely looks at a few intricately intertwined lives. 3 Storeys stars an ensemble cast of Renuka, Pulkit Samrat, Masumeh, Sharman Joshi and Richa Chadha.The film also sees the debut of young talents Aisha Ahmed and Ankit Rathi. Showcasing the interconnected lives of the leading characters, the teaser, that was recently released, promises an interesting watch.
3 Storeys is directed by debutante director Arjun Mukherjee and releases on March 9.
