MUMBAI GETS GROOVY WITH BENNY
The Asiatic Library hosted the Bajaj Electricals Presents Benny Dayal Concert post the other events at the Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2018 (HTKGAF). Benny began by enthralling the audience and sang some of his all-time hits such as Locha-e-Ulfat (2 States), Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi (Ghajini), Daru Desi (Cocktail) and later moved to more fast paced songs like The Disco Song (Student of the Year), Bang Bang (Bang Bang) and finished his act with Let’s Nacho! (Kapoor and Sons)
“I am thrilled to perform at HTKGAF, where legends like Ustad Zakir Hussain sahib, Ustad Ajad Ali Khan sahib, KK, Shefali Alvares and Benny, adding, “This is the kind of show that brings me immense happiness as I’m able to witness the audience enjoy my performance from beginning to end. They’re not distracted with their phones, they’ve come to sincerely enjoy the music and I end up having a great time in the process.”
The stage was set up using special Bajaj LED lights which consume very little energy and produce maximum impact, “Like sound and instruments, lighting is an equally important aspect for a performance on stage. The audience needs to see you to enjoy your performance. I think tonight was beautiful. Thank you Bajaj Electricals for all the support,” Benny says. winner of the #BajajSuperFan2018 contest was announced.
