Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is around the corner. But how about sharing a moment with your loved one at a place that is dream like creative? Interesting, isn’t it? At Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival it was made possible, as the intimate wear brand Valentine came up with the Valentine lounge, where one and his or her partner could take-it-easy as well as enjoy the art installations around.

“One hardly gets time to stop and spend with their loved ones at a fast paced city like Mumbai. Moreover, there are hardly any places to go.” says Shaili Karki, a beautician by profession. She adds, “We have a small house in Dombivili and come to work in the Kala Ghoda area every day. As my husband and I both are working we hardly get time to spend with each other. Today we got free a little early so we thought of catching up her at the Valentine Lounge.”

While this year the HTKGAF decided to go green, the clothing brand Valentine thought of supporting the cause by spreading the message of loving Mother Nature. As the day of love is here, the installations at the festival truly defined the spirit.

“Red is the colour of love and while we appreciate the Hara Ghoda initiative, let’s not forget that love gets us together in one platform. Be it love of cinema, love of people, love of nature. So, this time at the HTKGAF it’s the love of seeing our near and dear ones safe from environmental pollution and the love for a greener future is what is pushing us to go and be a part of this wonderful festival,” says Harshad Thakkar, CMD, Ashapura Intimates Fashion who’s intimate fashion wear brand Valentine has participated in the Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Festival this year.

At the lounge, one could see couple get their photos clicked in front of the Valentine heart poster, truly a sight, which would bring a smile to your face. “It’s funny sometimes to act childish and get photos clicked with a heart poster. If that makes you happy for a moment, then why not, I mean, I know we will laugh about this moment later but at least we would have smiles on our faces every time we see the picture,” says Parth Lakhani, a visitor at the festival.
