Art lovers in for a treat

India Art Festival (IAF), an art fair hosted annually at New Delhi and Mumbai is starting tomorrow. 50 art galleries and 575 master and establishe­d artists from 10 countries and 30 cities are showcasing 5000 artworks in 150 booths.

Maps Qatar (Doha), Gnani Arts & Peaks Art (Singapore), Myanmar Ink Art Gallery and Alfalasi.artz (Dubai) are overseas galleries participat­ing with major Indian galleries like Aakriti Art Gallery and Emami Art (Kolkata), Tao Art Gallery, ArtDesh, Artequest, Studio3, Painted Rhythm Art Gallery, West10 Art Gallery, Rhythm Art, WBC Gallery, Art Gallery 10, Artezvous, e Art Gallery Dolna the Movement, ArtZolo.com, Mriya Arts, Artvista and Sahaj Srajan (all Mumbai).

The master artists to be displayed at the Art Festival include Ramkumar, Satish Gujral, Jogen Chowdhury, T Vaikuntam, Rabin Mondal, Manu Parekh, Suhas Roy, Rini Dhumal, Badri Narayan, Laxma Goud, P Gnana, Shuvaprasa­nna Bhattachar­ya, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Yusuf Arakkal, Seema Kohli, Paresh Maity, Ramesh Gorjala, Fouad Al Emadi and many others displayed under one roof.

The galleries from Delhi and NCR setting up booths at the art festival are Lexicon Art Gallery, Gallerie Splash, Easel Stories, Gallery Pioneer, Gallerie Ruki, Galerie Art Eterne, GrapesArt, Moon Beams - Arts Initiative, Nifa Fine Art Academy, Studio Endless Thoughts, tudo7Seven, F & P Art Gallery, Art India Internatio­nal, Eminent Art Gallery, The Lotus Palette, Uchaan also present from Bengaluru are Charvi Art Gallery, Galerie Sara Arakkal and Savi3 Studio Gallery.

The limited art choices presented to metro-city art buyers are expanded by the art galleries and studio spaces coming from different cities like ArtsBreeze Art Gallery (Hyderabad), Baroda Heritage Art Gallery (Baroda), Beyond Square (Udaipur), Agantuk Art Tune (Kolkata), Art Affinittee (Kolhapur), Ekanti (Indore), and Sunita’s Makerspace (SarigamGuj­arat) showcasing in the art festival.
