Ram Kapoor is enjoying the attention of his fans for his online series. The popular actor, who is known for hit TV shows such as Ghar Ek Mandir, Kasamh Se and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (BALH), has been away from television for two years now. He was last seen in the TV show Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane and now the actor will be back on the small screen with two projects. He says, “I don’t miss being on TV as I am working on a comedy show and will be part of a talk show as well, just that I haven’t done a television soap in a while. Doing comedy is a lot of fun and a different experience for me and I am enjoying it a lot.”

Last year, the actor starred with his BALH co-star Sakshi Tanwar in an online series which was well-received. “Be it on television or online, fans love us (the same way). They enjoy our chemistry, which has been the same on both mediums. The experience of working on the show has been fantastic as has the response from the audience. It’s a comfortable zone and we are already looking at season 3. Sakshi and I make a good team. We trust and have respect for one another, which helps us work better,” he says.

Ram, who has also worked in films, finds the digital medium a pleasant change. “Working for a TV show means meeting deadlines and shooting at a rapid pace to complete an episode daily. You are always running against the clock but an online series means shooting at your own pace, almost like a movie. I don’t look at the medium, when I choose projects as it doesn’t matter to me. Though in terms of the audience, I have to say, the digital audience is a lot different than television audience as the shows have a wider reach.”
