Vashu Bhagnani’s Welcome To New York, is being touted as Bollywood’s first 3D Comedy movie. The funny trailer has managed to catch the audience’s attention. Although, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, Karan Johar, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Rana Daggubati will also be seen in the film. The film also has a special appearance by Sushant Singh Rajput. In the film, Diljit’s character mistakes Sushant as MS Dhoni, which is the latter’s most popular role.

A source reveals, “Welcome To New York’s song, ‘Nain phisal gaye’ brings together Salman Khan and Sonakshi again, after their Dabaang outing. The trailer has got the audiences intrigued with Karan’s double role. The comic timing of the actors is also spot on.”

The film is a comedy that tells the story of two youngsters from India, who are in search of a better life. An unexpected trip to New York City, USA, sets them off on a comedic adventure that changes their lives forever. On working with an ensemble cast, director Chakri Toleti says, “It is my first Hindi movie and I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with the best actors. The cast has superb comic timing and chemistry, and it shows on screen. Salman and Karan also wow with their presence.”

Diljit says, “It’s a film about how the outside world meets Bollywood with tons of laughter thrown in. Get ready to roll off the floor laughing.” Co-star Sonakshi adds, “We have had so much fun on this film and laughed so hard, I just know the audiences are going to have as much fun.”
