A colourful affair at HTKGAF
Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (HTKGAF) Reloaded hosted by Runwal Group has an art gallery displaying various forms of paintings from well-known artists. We got some of them to share about their experience of being a part of HTKGAF Reloaded.
Ms. Tarana Khubchandani, a visual artist and an art curator said, “The entire process of arranging the art for HTKGAF Reloaded was very smooth despite it being first-of-its-kind initiative. I am extremely enthralled to help artists reach new places and people.” When asked her about her experience as a veteran at HTKGAF organising committee, she said, “There is so much beauty around all of us and such festivals bring out the best each year. HTKGAF has a unique theme, which not only challenges me and my team but also delivers a unique message to the society.”
Satish Wavre, who painted a portrait of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in one night at a convention at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh was also glad to share his work.
“My paintings are a reflection of this joyfulness, bringing together nature, landscape and skyscape. I work spontaneously, while maintaining a familiar sense of order and harmony,” says Prerna Kewalramani, one of the art contributors to HTKGAF Reloaded.
Jaya Lamba’s paintings are influenced by a multitude of experiences that span cities and cultures. Shrikant Patil, a policeman turned artist, displayed his abstract paintings at HTKGAF for the first time. The display of all the art is open to public in Mumbai till last day of HTKGAF Reloaded February 25 2018 at Runwal Elegante, Lokhandwala, Andheri (W).
