PARINEETI TAKES A BREATHER!
Thanks to intense shooting schedules, when Chopra started to feel extremely tired, her costar, Arjun Kapoor advised her to go for a body massage
Not many know that over the past few months, Parineeti Chopra has been working on a backto-back schedule. After Meri Pyaari Bindu and Golmaal Again last year, the actor, almost immediately, started shooting for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, before starting work on Vipul Shah’s Namaste England with co-star Arjun Kapoor.
Now, we have come to know that the actor has had “quite a gruelling shooting schedule” of the said film. “Yes, for the past couple of days, Parineeti has been pulling off day-long shoots as she films an energetic song sequence with Arjun. So, it has been insane for her. In fact, she danced through two continuous days shotting for a song sequence,” says an insider from the film sets.
Apparently, since it’s a “full dhamaal, fun song”, Parineeti and Arjun needed to “put in a lot of energy” to pull off the intense choreography that was planned for them. They shot in extreme heat in the morning and chilling cold at night. With no respite, Parineeti’s body started to give up. Plus, she was recovering from fever,” adds the insider.
That’s when Parineeti’s friend and co-star, Arjun stepped in. “Looking at her going through such an intense shoot schedule, Arjun advised that she must take a massage to recuperate. Parineeti hates taking massages but this one time she had to listen to Arjun. He insisted that she should take care of herself for the rest of the shoot,” adds the insider.
When contacted, Parineeti says, “It is true (laughs). I listened to Arjun and went for a massage to relax and open up my muscles. This must have been the third time I took a massage in my life! But thank God for this session, it has helped my body that was breaking with the song shoot.”
