Sajid Nadiadwala takes a ‘special’ route for his next movie

Film-makers these days are leaving no stone unturned to make sure their movies look great. And the quality of special effects used in Indian cinema is proof; it has only been getting better with each passing year.

Now, we have learnt that in a bid to deliver top quality visual effects, the makers of Housefull 4 are set to fly down an award-winning international VFX team from London, UK. Besides the international visual effects company, Double Negative, a VFX team that worked on the Baahubali films, is also working on the latest instalment of the Housefull series.

A source close to the film’s unit says, “Whenever Sajid sir (Nadiadwala; producer) works on a franchise film, he loves to take things to the next level. This time around, for Housefull 4, he has hired the best VFX teams. In fact, the London-based firm has worked on films such as Inception (2010), Interstellar (2014), Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and Dunkirk (2017), and have even won a number of awards.”

Apparently, a huge budget has been allotted for the VFX for Housefull 4. “An imaginary world will be created for the film, and it will be at par with the one in the Hobbit series of films. To do that, the team from London is shifting bag and baggage to Mumbai and they will be in the city until the film releases on Diwali next year,” adds the source.
