Hrithik is all set for a finale act!
Ever since Hrithik Roshan made his debut with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (2000), he has been known as one of the most talented dancers in Bollywood. Now, the actor is set to perform at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
A source close to the actor says, “Yes, Hrithik will be performing the finale act on April 7. In fact, he has already started his rehearsals for the same. He will be seen dancing to a medley of hit numbers from past films. The line-up of songs includes ‘Main aisa kyun hoon’ (from Lakshya), ‘Dhoom machale’ (from Dhoom:2), ‘Ek pal ka jeena’ (from Kaho Na Pyaar Hai), ‘Baawre baawre’ (from Luck By Chance) and ‘Senorita’ (from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara).”
Apparently, Hrithik is working “very hard” and is going out of the way to perfect his act. “He wants it to be a treat for all his fans, especially since he doesn’t do many live performances nowadays,” says the insider.
When contacted, Hrithik said, “Yes, I can officially confirm that I will be performing for the opening ceremony of IPL. I have already started rehearsing for it. It will be fun to perform in front of a live audience once again.”
