I find driving therapeutic, says Vivek Dahiya

Actor Vivek Dahiya recently returned from a long vacation in London. If his social media is anything to go by, he’s making the most of his trip. Apparently, both Vivek and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya are passionate about travelling. But Vivek is a self-proclaimed travel junkie, who has been travelling ever since his college days. Now he seems to be on a mission to explore as many places as he can in the world.

“During his travels the actor makes sure to rent a car, and drive on the local roads for hours to discover the beauty of each place he travels to. He prefers capturing these places on his own and therefore opts for driving around,” says a source close to the actor.

While pursuing higher studies at Cardiff University in the UK, Vivek got accustomed to driving at foreign places. What’s more, he managed left-hand driving during his vacation last year. “I tried my hands at left-hand driving for the first time when we visited Italy. And now that my inhibitions about left-hand driving are gone I want to drive in every country in the world. As they say if you can drive in India, then you can drive anywhere in the world,” says Vivek, with a laugh.

He adds, “For me, being behind the wheel with some of my favourite music playing and unknown roads in front of me, is an adventure I really love. I find driving therapeutic.”
