Sonu turns cricket coach for son Ayaan
It’s hard for actors to find time to relax with their families, so when actor Sonu Sood can get away from his busy schedule, he likes playing a variety of outdoor sports with his sons, Ayaan and Eshaan. The actor is very passionate about cricket, but it turns out Ayaan has also developed a keen interest in the sport, and the doting father has lately been helping the eight-yearold excel in cricket.
A source close to the actor reveals, “Ayaan is very passionate about cricket. So, Sonu has appointed cricket coach Divesh Upadhyay to personally train his son. Despite his busy schedule, the actor also monitors Ayaan’s training and plays with him. Sonu wants everyone, including his family and staff members and his neighbours, to follow a healthy lifestyle and often promotes outdoor sports like cricket or volley ball.” In fact, the actor has also arranged for a cricket pitch in his society and is often spotted playing the game with the kids.
Talking about it, Sonu says, “Today, kids are glued to video games and laptops, so it’s very important to push them to go outdoors and play some kind of sport. Cricket is the most loved sport in India, so it is very easy for parents to be convinced that this can also be a career option. It is important for parents to motivate their kids and to play with them so they can be physically fit. As a parent, it is heartening to see your child pursue his passion and manage school as well. Ayaan practises for four hours on most days and his game has improved considerably. I’m so excited to help him train for the next level.”
