TAAPSEE’S TRIP TO EUROPE
After four backtoback film shoots, actor Taapsee Pannu took off to Spain for a twoweek extravaganza
Taapsee Pannu, who will be seen in the upcoming film Soorma starring Diljit Dosanjh, gave some major wanderlust goals with gorgeous photographs from her recent trip to Spain. Taapsee and her sister Shagun travelled through the land of Gaudí and flamenco in April last month.
Talking about it, she says, “Spain has been on my go-to list of countries for a while now. Spain is an architectural delight and every visual is picture perfect. Each time I plan a vacation, I try and go to different countries and this time was perfect for Spain. I also felt that the country has some kind of resonance with India. Spain is a lot like India — be it the colours, their love for food, the history and cultures or their multiple festivals. I took a 12-day trip as I didn’t want it to be a rushed visit. I wanted to soak it all in.”
They started their trip from Madrid where they walked through the cobblestoned paths and took in the capital’s delights. Seville was next on theirhi lilistt whereh tthey lovede thee architecture. They headed on to Valencia and the sister’s ended their trip in Barcelona, the cultural and party capital of Spain.
Reminiscing, Taapsee says, “I landed in Madrid and from there went to Seville, Valencia and then finally Barcelona. If anyone wants great nightlife and a lot of buzz, then Barcelona is the place to be. However for me, even thougho I love beaches and enjoyed Barcelona, it was Valencia that I liked the most. It has a great blend of culture and laid-back attitude with the perfect amount of buzz. So if one wants to spend time in a place which doesn’t feel either too hectic or too slow, head to Valencia.”
