Richa stars in a firstofits­kind short film

Actor Richa Chadha recently returned to the world of theatre after two years, with the play titled The Life in Telling, which was showcased in Mumbai and Delhi. However, the theatrical run for the head honchos of an internatio­nal bank left them so impressed that they decided to back a short film being adapted from this play.

While Bollywood films and shorts films have often been adapted into plays, this will be the first time that a stage act has inspired a short film. The film will also feature actor Vinay Pathak.

when the next show will be held in the city. It was pleasantly surprising when the production [team] told us that due to the responses they had received, they were making the play into a short film. Adding to that is the fact that it might just be the first of its kind.”

“While watching it as a play has its own feel, as a short film, it will reach a whole new level and more people,” says Richa, who was seen in 3 Storeys and Daas Dev, this year.
