While talking about fitness, celebrity trainer Anshuka Parwani reveals the secrets to working out in style

To understand how fitness and fashion go hand in hand, we caught up with celebrity trainer, Anshuka Parwani, founder of Anshuka Yoga, whose workout Bollywood stars, including the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, and Tusshar Kapoor, can’t get enough of.
During the conversation, she revealed her motivation tips, workout playlist, and her favourite pieces from the K Active range from KOOVS. COM. My career started out with me being a pilot. I was in a terrible accident that left me medically unfit. I was on bed rest, unable to move around much. I started physiotherapy and yoga to heal myself. As yoga helped me so much, I decided to get a teacher's training.Coincidentally, I started working with Kareena Kapoor, who was my first student. I was very lucky — I’d just started working with a yoga company and they sent me to her due to lack of trainers. She really loved my class, so much so that I started travelling with her on outdoor shoots and became her exclusive personal trainer. This started in 2009, after which many other celebrities heard about me and got in touch. Whoever you go to for a fitness class should always motivate you, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Motivation always comes from looking good and feeling good! For me, keeping a client motivated is also about making sure that I’m very healthy and fit. Fitness fashion is so important! For example, wearing cool yoga pants and pieces with motivational quotes can inspire you to strive harder. It’s so hard to introduce fitness in your daily life or go to a gym or yoga class — fashion can help make it more fun. So, if you keep up the commitment and discipline that a star has, you can see the same changes in your own body and can even achieve even better results.
