Anupam Kher addressed jawans at 50 years of CISF
Anupam Kher was recently invited by the Inspector General and all ranks of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) – Western Sector to deliver a motivational talk on the occasion of CISF completing 50 golden years.
The Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan recipient who recently wrapped up shooting for his political drama, The Accidental Prime Minister, feels humbled to be part of the high-profile event that took place yesterday at Chembur. The actor interacted with the jawans and congratulated them on CISF completing its golden jubilee.
A source informs, “Kher strongly believes in interacting with the jawans and always looks forward to an opportunity to associate with them, which results in the exchange of knowledge and information. On this occasion, he spoke about managing stress effectively. He spoke about his journey since the last 35 years and about his struggles despite being a part of over 500 films. He also spoke about accepting one’s weakness and making it their strength.”
Talking about his experience, Kher says, “It’s always a huge honour to be part of an event dedicated to our respected and most admired jawans who sacrifice their lives, and serve their motherland and civilians. Having interesting and engaging conversations with them about life, struggles, safety, stress management, self-realisation, positive thinking, right attitude, ethics and integrity always gives me a high.”
