Three billion views for Bhushan and Guru
Singer Guru Randhawa has surpassed three billion views across all official channels on YouTube, reportedly making him the most viewed Indian artiste in history.
Guru is an independent musician, who has a sizeable number of trending songs such as ‘Suit suit’, ‘High rated gabru’, ‘Lahore’, ‘Ban ja rani’ and ‘Made in India’, to his credit. Within a short time, his tracks have broken many records in India. An elated Guru says, “I am thankful to everybody for their love and support. I feel it is for the first time in Indian history that an independent artiste has acquired 3 billion views. I’m honoured and blessed for all the support from listeners worldwide who have supported my music. Every artiste wishes to achieve this kind of success. I’m thankful to God for this day. This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.”
The chairman and managing director of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, played a pivotal part in the singer’s success. The music head honcho, who is always scouting for new talent, first signed him up in 2015 for the hit track ‘Patola’. This makes them the only producer-singer duo who has set such a record in Indian music industry. On his association with Guru, Bhushan adds, “It is indeed a proud moment when a talent from your company scales such heights. Guru is also the mostfollowed male singer in India on Instagram with five million followers.
