I want to be a better version of myself: Param Singh
Actor Param Singh is gifting himself a theatre workshop for his birthday next month. The Ghulam actor will go on a solo trip to Pondicherry and take part in a 10-day workshop.
“I wanted to take this workshop while working in television. But due to my schedule, I couldn’t take 10 days off. Now that I have some free time, I want to enhance my skills and become a better actor. I love my craft and want to learn the unique performance methodology developed by this theatre workshop. I have done TV for the last four years and I want to change the pattern of my craft. I wanted to break out of the monotony and learn something more about acting. Such workshops prepare you to take on challenging roles as an actor. I am looking at something beyond TV, and now I have time to hone my skills,” says Param.
The actor doesn’t mind that he will be spending his birthday in a new place away from family and friends. “It is a mere coincidence that I will be there for my birthday. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Every year, I celebrate my birthday with my family or friends or end up shooting. This year, I will be alone with my passion. This will also be my first solo trip, which I am kicked about,” he says. “I will be staying alone with new people and the experience will be exciting. Pondicherry is beautiful place and I hope to explore the place. I believe solo trips help you understand yourself better and give you clarity in life. I want to be a better version of myself,” he adds.
