Actor Richa Chadha is one actor who will always speak her mind on any platform if it’s an issue that she believes in. She believed that other than educating women to stay protected and always be on the alert against their harassers, it is men who should be educated to respect women and help the nation eradicate sex traffickin­g globally. Richa said, “Men are the clients, men are the ones who pay for this. We can empower women, we can teach them self-defence but till there is a change in the way women are viewed, this will not change. There is a sickness and perversity that we need to address. We are looking at the headlines in India and there is something we need to learn — it’s not just about protecting our daughters, it’s not about saying ghar mein maa behan nahi hai kya. We all are in this together; you know they say if a blade of grass is cut, the whole universe trembles. And I think that when something like this affects all of us, it affects humanity.”
