Saif Ali Khan’s next will be an outandout action thriller
Actor Saif Ali Khan has finally wrapped up the schedule of his next film with film-maker Navdeep Singh. The film which sees him playing a naga sadhu was being extensively shot since the past six months. Saif was juggling between the shooting of Sacred Games and this film. But even before he gets a break between his films, he has apparently decided what his next project will be — an action film.
A source close to the actor reveals, “After Sacred Games
SAIF IS ALREADY ON A STRICT DIET AND NOW, HE WILL SOON UNDERGO RIGOROUS TRAINING FOR THE ROLE. AN INTERNATIONAL TRAINER IS ALSO BEING FLOWN DOWN FOR HIM.
[on the web], Saif has been offered several interesting projects. He didn’t have any time to look at them, as he was working constantly. So when he went to Maldives with his family recently, he took along some scripts to finalise and now, he has liked a couple of them.”
He added, “While he is confirmed to be a part of Go Goa Gone 2, his next solo film is an action thriller. Though he did a couple of action films in the beginning of his career, he hasn’t done an out and out action film after Agent Vinod (2012), so he is excited about the genre. He is already on a strict diet and now, he will soon undergo rigorous training for the role. An international trainer is also being flown down for a couple of months to help Saif get into the required shape.”
For Navdeep’s film too, Saif, had to learn sword fighting, as it’s a period drama. “Saif has Go Goa Gone 2, the next season of Sacred Games and the action thriller in the pipeline. He will soon announce a couple of other projects too,” adds the source.
