2, which also marks his first Karan Johar production. The actor, who is known for his action and dance skills, has a major fan following especially among the younger generation. However, not many know that the actor has not had the opportunity to attend college in real life.
“Tiger’s first experience as a college student on screen is very different and special for him, as he has not had the chance to go to college. He couldn’t attend college because he began acting in movies right after he finished schooling. Tiger did his schooling from American School of Bombay and was a bright student. He used to get good grades and was good at sports as well. Even though he has attained stardom at a young age, he still keeps learning new skills and considers himself a student. Tiger feels blessed with whatever opportunities have come his way. He does not regret missing out on his college life and is happy that he got the chance to experience college life in this film, where he has shot with many college students,” says a source close to the actor.
Tiger says, “I have never been a college student. After my 12th standard, I was offered my first movie Heropanti (2014) and never went to college. Student of The Year 2 is a big responsibility for me. It is Karan Johar’s franchise and it is the first time that I am working with his production house. The first instalment became the launchpad for such big stars. Hopefully, audiences will like the sequel too, which is a light and fun film.”
