Here’s why John Krasinski doesn’t find juggling ‘roles’ too difficult
John Krasinski has made a name for himself as an actor, director and a producer. And he says that balancing them all is not at all tough. But when asked how he does it all, Krasinski, who has also been a voice-over artist, said, “When you say it like that, I get worried, and think how I am balancing it?”
However, the director of this year’s horror film A Quiet Place added on a serious note, “The reason why I do all these things is because when I got The Office, I thought I was so lucky and that I didn’t deserve it. So, I started learning everything so that they think I deserve it. I started going in editing bays, directing, writing to get a sense of the whole world. I feel when you get an opportunity one should do what it takes.”
Speaking at an event organised by a streaming giant that is also the platform of his new web series, Krasinski announced new characters on the show, including “a new female counterpart, a friend and enemy of Jack, played by Noomi Rapace”.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is a reinvention of the modern sensibility of the famed and lauded Tom Clancy hero, and stars Krasinski and Abbie Cornish in the lead roles.
The 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) actor added about the show, “I got lucky by doing a long form of storytelling, because it is hard to make a movie with that much incredible material and rich detail.”
