Hrithik reaches out to man who overcame childhood stammer

Actor Hrithik Roshan recently encouraged a man whose childhood struggle with stammering and his efforts to overcome it were shared online. Humans of Bombay, a Facebook page that shares inspiring stories of Mumbaikars who’ve dealt with life’s challenges in a positive way, shared the man’s story. In the post, he spoke about how he was bullied by other kids in school for stammering, how everyone told him to stop dreaming when he wanted to become an actor, among other things. He also mentioned that he turned to videos of Hrithik Roshan for inspiration.
Hrithik has been very vocal about his stammering problem and how he never gave up, but instead was persistent and achieved what he had to.
The man shared that he’d watch videos of the Bollywood star talking about what he went through and how he overcame it. The man is now a teacher, and also producer and director at a production house.
A source close to Hrithik says, “When this story was brought to Hrithik’s notice, the actor not only liked his story on Instagram but also commented on the post, saying, ‘You are not alone.’ The man never expected Hrithik to read or respond to his achievement and is over the moon with this gesture.”
