Sanjay Dutt’s special birthday tales for twins!
Of late, he has been busy with back-to-back films. And although Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his work, he missed a very special occasion on October 21 — the birthday of his kids, Shahraan and Iqra, who have turned 8 — due to heavy workload.
“Yes, Sanju couldn’t join in the celebrations since he was busy with the shooting schedule of his next, Torbaaz, in Trombay, Mumbai,” says an insider, close to Sanjay. However, Sanjay’s wife, Maanayata took the kids to Dubai for a quick getaway as “Shahraan and Iqra had a long weekend due to the Dussehra festivities”. “The twins first cut the cake at their school and then brought in their birthday with their mum,” says the insider. Interestingly though, Sanjay — despite being busy with the film’s shoot — decided to surprise his kids. “When Maanayata and the kids returned to the city, they had a special visitor waiting to receive them. Sanju really wanted to be with his kids so he went to the airport,” says the insider.
After receiving his wife and kids at the Mumbai airport, the family headed to their Pali Hill residence where another birthday cake was cut, and this time with Sanjay. “Sanju shares a very strong bond with his twins as well as Maanayata. They have been the source of strength for him,” says the insider. Besides Torbaaz, the actor has films like Prasthanam, Kalank, Panipat, Shamshera, Sadak and Khalife in his kitty.
In the last few years, Dutt and his wife, Maanayata have been seen organising as well as being a part of special theme parties for their kids.
