Nawazuddin manages to be everywhere
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, shooting with Southern superstar Rajinikanth for his upcoming Tamil film Petta. With this, Nawaz makes his debut in Tamil cinema. Simultaneously, the actor is shooting in the same city for Motichoor Chaknachoor with Athiya Shetty. That’s quite a juggling act, and — what’s more — Nawaz is also flying off to Mumbai every now and then.
A source close to the actor reveals how he is balancing all these projects at the same time. “He is currently in Bhopal shooting for two films. The makers of Motichoor Chaknachoor have erected sets that are an hour away from the Petta sets, so currently [Nawaz] is shooting day and night. In between, he’s also flying to Mumbai to shoot for Tannishtha Chatterjee’s movie, as he also has to finish dubbing for the project. He’ll be stationed in Bhopal until the end of November, after which he starts shooting for the second season of [the web series] Sacred Games.”
Talking about his films, Nawaz, who seems unfazed by his very tight schedule, says, “I’m glad I get a variety of movies to choose from. As an actor, it’s a great opportunity to select from such diverse roles. I’m happy to be working with some great film-makers and co-actors.”
After a great 2018, Nawaz will have seven releases next year — six films and Sacred Games part 2. A sequel to his biopic on Bal Thackerey has been announced recently as well.
NAWAZUDDIN, WHO’S SHOOTING FOR SEVERAL PROJECTS, HAS SEVEN RELEASES OUT NEXT YEAR.
