Atif and Nushrat’s romantic duet
Popular singer Atif Aslam is ready to release yet another romantic ballad. His latest single Baarishein, produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar is about the pain and turmoil of a couple who have spilt. The video features the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) actor Nushrat Bharucha alongside Atif. The song is composed and written by Arko and the video that has rain as main element, has been in Los Angeles, USA, irector David ie. So, I really enjoyed being part of this song and the concept really worked well for me.”
Atif exclaims, “Pushing my limits was certainly an experience because I was shooting this video while on a US tour, which is not easy at all. Imagine performing almost five gigs a week and that too in different cities. Having said that, it was a lot of fun shooting in LA, doing last minute suit alterations and what not.”
Nushrat recalls a “chilling” but funny experience while shooting the video and says, “We were shooting in the freezing LA weather at 2.30 am, and after the rain sequence of the song was shot, we wanted to enter the house where we were shooting but the owner of the house refused to let Atif and me in. He expected us to dry ourselves outside and then enter his palatial mansion laid with Italian marble. Perhaps he did not want to ruin his house but Atif and I were completely drenched and freezing outside. Luckily, we were able to convince him (laughs).”
